Arrow Industrial was pleased to work on this pioneering £15m project at the Category 1 animal by-product processing facility in Widnes, Cheshire.
The new SecAnim plant in Widnes provided safe and secure collection and disposal services to the farming and meat production sectors. The site’s owner, Saria, invested heavily in the renewable energy and recycling facility, designing it to minimise environmental impact and eliminate odour.
Arrow Industrial was awarded the contract following a rigorous tender process and a bid that offered a value engineered door solution that met the brief specified by the client.
Based on our competitive offer, design solution and after sales support, we were awarded the contract for the sectional doors on this new build facility.
During the tender process it became apparent that glazed sectional doors would meet the requirements of the brief. These are the perfect solution in industrial environments, where light and visibility are of paramount importance.
The door panels consisted of multiple sections, and thanks to the custom-sized aluminium profiles, the frames could be manufactured to the exact specification. The windows were available in a range of colours that offered varying degrees of transparency which also ensured the aesthetic aspect of the brief was also met.
