What are Arrowplas G.R.P. Thinblade Door sets ?
The Arrowplas Glass-Fibre Reinforced Polyester Thinblade Door sets are manufactured employing an advanced process which incorporates woven glass-fibre within the moulded-plastic door blade in a balanced construction process.The door blades have a thickness of just 5mm, increasing to a spine thickness of 40mm. This means Arrowplas Thinblade GRP Doors are the hi-impact, hygienic, durable choice for a wide range of uses.
Another benefit derived from this enhanced manufacturing process is the tough, isophthalic gelcoat surface with an ultra-smooth finish for hygiene and easy cleaning, making them a favourite in the food, pharmaceutical and health industries.
Bumpers can be supplied to your specification in a variety of configurations to give even greater impact resistance (see diagram below for suggested combinations).
Acrylic, scratch and cleaning material resistant vision panels are available to your specification (see diagram below for suggested configurations).
Moulded GRP bezels are standard and are hygienic and easy to clean.

Construction details of the Arrowplas GRP Thinblade Door sets
- Supplied as a pre-hung doorset to your specifications
- Technically advanced, woven glass-fibre balanced construction process
- Mild-steel powder-coated frames are supplied as standard with an option of stainless steel frames to achieve maximum hygiene standards.
- Thickness of the doorblade is 5mm with a 40mm spine (see diagram above)
- 3 double-action Delrin hinges per doorblade are standard
- Standard colour range with a cost option of any BS or RAL colour available
