What are Arrowplas G.R.P. Doors
Arrowplas Glass Reinforced Polyester Doors are plastic laminated to form a completely seamless cover, even at the edges.
They are impact-resistant, non-porous and waterproof, and because they are moisture resistant do not peel.
These qualities make this particular door very easy to clean, keeps maintenance to a minimum and offers maximum hygiene standards. aking these doors a favourite in the food, pharmaceutical and health industries.
Arrowplas G.R.P Doors are available in any choice of colour within the BS5252 and RAL colour ranges enabling them to complement your existing corporate identity.

Construction details of the Arrowplas GRP Door
- Composite seamless door constructed from an outer shell of glass reinforced polyester and an inner core of closed cell foam
- Outer shell consists of an isophthalic gel coat, giving improved strength and chemical resistance over inferior orthophthalic gels
- The core consists of high density (40kg m3) closed cell, flame-retardent foam which also provides a high insulation value.
- The increased insulation factor can be complimented with a 20mm double glazed vision panel where appropriate
- Entire laminate is pre-pigmented rendering accidental damage and scratches less evident. The laminate does not require any decoration work prior to installation or in future life
- Single or double-glazed vision panels are available as options in crystal clear, shatterproof polycarbonate with colour matching GRP bezels
- Single-glazed vision panels with neoprene gaskets are available as options
- Provision for the client's future installation of ironmongery will be made at production stage (subject to client's written instructions at order stage), alternatively ironmongery can be supplied and fitted at manufacturing stage at extra cost
- Arrowplas 120 minute fire door design has been tested at Warrington Fire Research Centre under conditions of BS 476 part 20 and part 22. Full specification and relevant technical information regarding any Arrowplas Fire Doors are available on request and should be consulted prior to ordering Arrowplas Fire Doors. This allows you to satisfy yourself as to the suitability of the product and the obligations placed on you by your local fire department.
